• Role Model

  I was talking to another Sunday School teacher about possibly hosting a girls' bonding event at my house this summer. His youngest daughter is an 8th grader in our class.

  C: That would be terrific! I think it's a great idea to have the girls spend time with an older role model. I'm trying to instill good values... You know, like... No dating until they're 40, that type of thing. My daughter is already talking about boys.
  Me: *laughs nervously*
  My mom: Oh, you're talking to the wrong person.

  LOL.

  I was 11 years old when I had my first "boyfriend". We hugged and held hands and said "I love you" to each other. I wonder what C would think if he knew that.
