I FAIL
It happened just before my shower. I hopped into the bath tub and turned on the water. It was cold. Which wasn’t really that big of a deal, but I’m a wimp and prefer not to take cold showers unless my skin feels like it’s emanating heat.
I called for the maid in the room next to me and asked her to turn on the heater. No response. I called again. Maybe she had left the room.
That’s okay, I could easily do it myself. I swung open the door to the room and saw her standing a few feet away from me, her back turned, with a silky white bed sheet over her head. I laughed out loud. Just as I opened my mouth to ask “What are you doing?!” it dawned on me – she was praying. I froze, whispered “I’m sorry”, flipped the heater switch on and cowered back to where I came from. Even after I laughed and apologized, she didn’t move a muscle.
I AM SO DUMB.

I feel the same way about cold showers. I am working on getting the letter out to you btw, I hope you don’t think I forgot.
it happens? lol
You didn’t fail. That can happen to anyone.
At least you got the warm shower. Isn’t it strange that the switch to those hot water isn’t in the bathroom? I wonder why they design that in Asia like so.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH.
Hahahhaa XD you didn’t fail in giving me a good laugh
.
that wasn’t dumb. you just didn’t know and it could happen to anyone. i feel the same way about cold showers. especially with the weather we’re having here right now, i always find myself turning up the heater. and warm water does something nice to my skin.
@HeartLUST - No problem, I’m out of the country anyway so I wouldn’t get receive it until I get home.
@IpowerhouseI - lol I just felt really bad… I’m sure she heard me laugh. >.
@sf2slc - Yeah, I guess so. They just put it where the light switch is.
@misajour - @pika_whoosh - Glad you two enjoyed my awkward moment lol.
@KGTeriKat - Thanks. I think now I could take an ALMOST cold shower… maybe a warm one instead of a hot one. It’s really really hot this afternoon!!! I don’t want to go homeeee….
I love to take cold showers. But I can’t handle it as much as I thought I can. We don’t have switches or water heater, so I usually have to boil water. The other day I was so lazy to do so. I just took the cold one had a very bad runny nose the whole day. Believe me … it was very unpleasant. So unless you are used to taking cold showers, I suggest you not do it.
Btw, I don’t understand. Why did she have a bed sheet over her head? @.@
@kyalzinlay - Wow, I can’t imagine having to boil water every time! So much work!
Hahaha it wasn’t actually a bed sheet, it was some kind of prayer robe. I thought it was a bed sheet at first glance.
Oh how embarrassing! — I’ve totally done something similar like that. Maybe you could just apologize — it’ll clear the air I’m sure. In HK my grandparents have those heater shower switches, too. Haha
ah… I wouldn’t have guessed that and probably would’ve done the same thing you did >> I’m sure forgiveness will be quickly given. It’s not like you intentionally did it
@onlyjustbegun - Ouch … I guess I’m too dumb to understand what the whole post was about.
